Chemistry as a matter of honour. Our leather is sourced through LWG-rated tanneries via our manufacturing partner Mint Deri. The Leather Working Group runs the industry’s most recognised environmental audit — grading a tannery on how it manages energy, water, effluent, waste and chemicals on site. It’s the environmental due-diligence standard a premium brand’s compliance desk looks for first.

Our leather is chrome-tanned with trivalent chromium (Cr III) — and the tanning is managed against the formation of hexavalent chromium (Cr VI), the restricted by-product that matters to your brand and its buyers. Article-level RSL and ZDHC-level testing can be arranged to your specification on request.
Used for: most production

Beyond our chrome default: wet-white (chrome-free), vegetable (mimosa, tara or quebracho), and metal-free (FOM) — available for brands with specific sustainability or import requirements. Other tannages can be sourced to your specification, subject to programme.
Used for: strict import markets, sensitive-skin requirements

The coating applied at the tannery — water-based rather than solvent-carried, keeping emissions down without softening the surface performance.
Used for: all production
Choosing a tanning process is a technical trade-off between chemistry, hand and cost — including when the simpler process is the better one. We’ll walk you through it for your programme.
