Every skin reaches us in one of these looks — the first thing that shapes how a piece looks and feels.

The classic finish: an even grain with a natural, quiet sheen.

The underside sanded to a soft, matte nap that catches the light.

The wool left on, worn either way: warm inside, or turned out.

Suede’s opposite: the outer grain sanded, not the underside. A finer, firmer nap.
Each skin below is noted for the surfaces it carries.
We primarily work in four skins, chosen for what they do — not a supplier’s full list.

Soft to the hand, yet a high strength-to-weight ratio keeps it from feeling fragile. Also available in suede.
Best for: lightweight jackets, dresses, shirting.

A premium African lamb, prized for its finer grain and greater elasticity — and the base for all our suede. Our suede starts finer than most because of it. Available on request, subject to sourcing and availability.
Best for: refined tailoring where a finer hand matters.

A soft, supple skin — used smooth, or with the wool left on for warmth. Double-face shearling comes in varying piles, from cropped to long-hair Toscana.
Best for: winter outerwear, aviators, reversible styles.

A firmer skin with a distinctive natural pebble grain, for pieces carrying more surface character. It holds its shape where softer skins would drape.
Best for: structured, character-led jackets.
Other skins can be sourced on request. For specific material needs, we can draw on our sourcing network — availability and lead times vary.
Every skin is graded by hand in our atelier before it’s cut — read for grain, weight, and integrity, so your silhouette holds its intended form.
